MEMBERSHIP

Members of the Faculty of Decoration are individuals who are highly qualified in their respective area in the field of decoration and the membership is drawn from a wide range of disciplines, including;

Interior Decorators: people who have the skills for designing and carrying out the visual aspects of the internal environment including the combining of layout, applied decoration and furnishing in the domestic, commercial and conservation fields.

Interior designers: People who are responsible for spatial manipulation and have developed a special interest or aptitude to decoration.

Craftspeople: Decorative painters; highly skilled men and women whose work is the very essence of all the decorative arts in whatever area.

Industrial Designers: People whose contribution to the internal environment is in the design of the products used in the field of decoration.

Teachers: Those who are responsible for the education and training of our future craftsmen and designers.

This is not a definitive range of member’s occupations as the decorative arts cover a wide range of activities.
